Hello preCICE users!
I am planning to shift from openFOAM v7 to foam-extend 4.1.
So, I would like to know whether preCICE supports for foam-extend 4.1 or nor?
Does anyone have used preCICE for foam-extend before?
Thanks and regards

There is a legacy adapter mentioned on the homepage Overview of adapters | preCICE - The Coupling Library. People have used foam-extend with preCICE before. However, the last updates in the corresponding repository are have been 5 years ago so I do not expect it to work anymore. Maybe somebody else can tell you a bit more about the current status.
Dear @ajaust
Thanks for the reply.
It seems like preCICE is no more supporting foam-extend after it’s version 3.2.
The OpenFOAM adapter also does not support foam-extend (see OpenFOAM support | preCICE - The Coupling Library). The problem is that foam-extend is already quite different from the main OpenFOAM flavors (which also have large and increasing differences, but we still manage to support .com and .org).
This does not mean that you cannot couple foam-extend yourself, especially if you only have a specific application in mind. This should be rather easy and would mean coupling foam-extend in the same way as coupling any other code: Couple your code | preCICE - The Coupling Library
One could even use parts of the official OpenFOAM adapter, considering of course license/attribution/citation.
In any case, we would definitely be happy to help and welcome any contributions!
