Meet preCICE: 1st community hour (videoconference): April 15, 2020

:telephone_receiver: Meet preCICE: 1st community hour on Wednesday :woman_technologist: :earth_africa: :man_technologist:

Join us for a 1-hour videoconference on April 15, 2020, 11:00-12:00 (GMT+2, Europe/Berlin) to meet the community, find out about our next goals, and give us feedback.

Dear preCICE community,

we would like to establish a direct communication channel to bring our enthusiastic community together without the need for traveling. This should also bridge the gap to those that were not able to attend our preCICE Workshop.

We are offering a public video conference next Wednesday, April 15, between 11:00-12:00 (GMT+2, Europe/Berlin). We will use Zoom, and you can join using this link or with id 163 654 451 and pass preCICE. You will be able to join a few minutes earlier, so that we can start on time.

Agenda (~20min per item):

  • Our main lessons from the preCICE Workshop (and especially the World Café) and next priorities
  • Our plans for restructuring our website and documentation - we need feedback!
  • Free discussion - should we do this again?

See you on Wednesday!

Reminder for tomorrow! As an appetizer, have a look at our updated Roadmap.

Possible feature for the Wiki / website: Easy access to the C and Fortran bindings API functions names and their input parameters.
Currently this page gives information regarding non-C++ API’s and how the linking for each of them happens, but as a regular user of both the C and Fortran bindings it would be very helpful to have a small guide which I can refer to rather than the corresponding .hpp files.
