I am a postgraduate student in Applied Mathematics working on computational Hydraulic Fracturing propagation modelling. It combines fluid (Non-Newtonian fluid injection to initiate the crack) - solid (Solid Mechanics) interaction.
Can I run such process with preCICE? combining OpenFoam and Dealii?
I am a very new beginner and I would be happy to know more from your guidances.
Could you tell us a bit more about how you want to model the fracture propagation? Will it be modeled via a phase-field approach or is it directly reflected by the geometry which means that you have to adapt the mesh to the propagating fracture?
