I note that the latest supported CalculiX version is 2.20.

Has anyone tried using the adapter with CalculiX version 2.22?

No, to the best of our knowledge, the CalculiX adapter has not been used with CalculiX version 2.20. But we would be very interested in receiving a contribution towards updating the adapter.
