Calculix adapter for Ubuntu 24.04?

Is there a different way to install the Calculix adapter with preCICE 3.2 for Ubuntu 24.04. I followed the current documentation to build the calculix adapter from source. After running make -j 4, i ended up with all these files in the bin folder.

But it doesn’t contain the ccx_preCICE file in the bin.

I used calculix-precice2_2.20.0-1_amd64_jammy.debmaster.tar.gz as my base file to create the calculix-adapter-master folder. In my case, since I am using Ubuntu 24.04 Noble, is there a different package for calculix and precice that I should be using?

@som1197 what was the output of make? There was probably an error, since ccx_preCICE was not generated.

I am not sure what you mean here, but mixing packages between different Ubuntu versions will not work.

I have opened a pull request to update our package generation for the next CalculiX adapter release, but maintenance of that adapter is rather sparse at the moment:
