Dear everyone,
I hope this message finds you well.
I am reaching out to seek postdoctoral opportunities in the field of multi-physics coupling, particularly involving fluid-structure interaction (FSI). I am writing here because many of you are leading experts in coupling methods and simulation, and I would be deeply honored to join a research environment with such expertise.
I recently completed my Ph.D. in Fluid Mechanics at Université Paris-Saclay, where I focused on the nonlinear modeling of fluid-structure interaction in vibration-driven systems, with applications in vibration control and energy harvesting. My doctoral research included:
- Developing a finite element framework for periodic composite structures immersed in fluid, capturing added-mass effects and anisotropic wave propagation;
- Implementing a monolithic FSI solver for thin-walled piezoelectric structures using the TurtleFSI code built on FEniCS;
- Exploring high-fidelity numerical methods for strongly coupled multi-physics systems.
I am highly motivated to continue research in this field and contribute to open-source development and collaborative projects.
