Reading the current time witht the interface

I was wondering if there is a function to read the time. Current time, from the api.

Hi @tapegoji,

there is currently no way of getting the current time from preCICE as this goes a bit against the design philosophy of preCICE.
We have had discussions regarding this and the rejection mostly comes down to the lack of use case.
