Has anyone studied pile-soil interaction?

I’m using OpenFOAM and Calculix to study pile-soil interaction under wave loading, employing the Waves2Foam wave flume model. Currently, I’m encountering coupling issues where Calculix fails to converge. Are there any similar case studies or instructional videos available for reference? Or has anyone worked on this before?When I run CCX standalone with the settings

*DYNAMIC, ALPHA=-0.05, DIRECT
1, 30.0, 1e-5, 1e30

it runs successfully. However, it fails to converge when coupled with OpenFOAM.When set to

*DYNAMIC, ALPHA=-0.05, DIRECT
0.01, 30.0

neither standalone CCX nor coupling with OpenFOAM converges.
