I am Dhanush Sai, a 3rd-year Computer Science student with a prior diploma in Mechanical Engineering. This background gives me a unique perspective on both the technical and engineering aspects of scientific software. I am very interested in the Website Modernization project for GSoC 2026.
I have experience in Web Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap) and Python-based data analysis. Currently, I am analyzing the precice.github.io repository structure. I noticed that adding a ‘Repository Anatomy’ section could greatly help new contributors navigate the project more intuitively. I am preparing a PR for Issue #838 to implement this using a ‘House Structure’ analogy (Foundation, Blueprint, Rooms, etc.).
I have also been active in the SunPy community, recently contributing to the radiospectra project. I look forward to bringing that experience to preCICE!
