Error after simulation starts - OpenFOAM and CalculiX for FSI

Dear precicers,

I encountered an error while running a FSI simulation using interfoam and calculix. I have a beam fixed in the air, but its lower part enters the water and confronts water current. It’s a 2D case, and I want to simulate it until the steady state is reached.
The simulation could start and run for several seconds (time of the simulation), but it suddenly crashed after that. I found the force becomes abnormally large before it crashed, which might be the reason. Furthermore, the force and velocity around the beam are quite unstable during the simulation, the force at the two sides of the beam seems to be oscillating. I have tried some mapping and coupling methods of precice, however I couldn’t find a way to solve the problem. The OpenFOAM part could run without any problem.
The uploaded zip file includes all the files. I would be grateful if you can download and run it and check what the problem is. Thank you!

Dear @Pablo34,

I know it’s been a while since you asked this, but I wanted to still try to find out what the issue was.

Did you manage to solve this issue already?

I see that you are using interFoam. I could imagine that some numerical error accumulates in such two-phase simulations over time. Around which time did you observe the error?

How does this case compare to our tutorial?
