Trouble installing precice

Installing preCICE

Hello,

I am trying to install Precice version 2.3.0. I downloaded and built it from source. On my machine, precice does show up in the list of installed packages. But when I try to use it in python using “import precice”, I get the error

ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'precice'

Could you please help me solve this issue?

Please describe your system, and especially:

  • preCICE version - 2.3.0
  • Operating system or platform - “Ubuntu 20.04”
  • Installation method - building with CMake
