The problem about rotation of solid in FSI

Hi everyone,

I am fresh in openfoam and calculix and know little about how to edit .inp file.I want to know how to make my solidbody rotate around a point in my FSI project.

Hi @lijialin,

I assume you could assign some pre-defined rotation in CalculiX (I don’t know how, but maybe one of the @calculix-users knows - consider joining the group since you are one).

Still, don’t expect large rotations to work with the plain ALE method. See other topics discussing rotating bodies: Topics tagged rotating-bodies
