I’m Sushant Dhayagode, a 3rd-year student from India, and I’m interested in contributing to preCICE for GSoC 2026, specifically the “Website modernization” project.
For the entry task, I set up the website locally and experimented with modifying the landing page. I added and styled a new UI section to better understand the current structure, layout system, and styling approach used in the project.
While working on this, I explored how the existing Jekyll setup integrates content and how Bootstrap is currently being used. This gave me insight into the limitations of the current stack and the kind of improvements that could be made during a migration or upgrade.
I’ve attached screenshots demonstrating the changes I implemented, including the configuration input panel, analysis output (XML tree view), and coupling graph visualization. These showcase how the interface behaves after my modifications and how users can interact with different configuration views more effectively.
