GSoC 2026 | Pankhuri Agarwal

Hi everyone,

I’m Pankhuri Agarwal, a first-year B.Tech student with a strong interest in programming, problem-solving, and building impactful technology. I have experience in working with C, C++, and Python, along with libraries like NumPy and Pandas for data analysis. I also actively practice Data Structures and Algorithms in C++, which has helped me build a solid foundation in efficient coding and logical thinking.

I’m also active on GitHub, where I share my projects, experiment with new ideas, and continuously improve my coding practices. I focus on writing clean, maintainable code and using version control effectively while collaborating on projects.

I am particularly interested in contributing to the clean multi-step configuration project within the PRECICE organization. The idea of refactoring a real-world C++ codebase to introduce cleaner separation of concerns, better error locality, and a well-structured AST is exactly that excites and motivates me to contribute to this project. Also, I would love to help make configuration more intuitive and efficient for users.

I’m here to learn, explore the codebase, and contribute meaningfully to the project. I’m especially interested in understanding PRECICE’s architecture and gradually getting involved in contributions. I look forward to learn from this community and collaborating with all of you.

Thank you!
