Hi everyone, days ago I posed a topic about data-mapping problems occurred between non-matching domains. I have been working on this nowadays but in vain.
If I changed the surface of solid model with the fluid one, the solid model reacts differently compared to the original one. And if I changed the surface of fluid model with the solid one, its pressure distribution cannot match the experiment results.
Mesh files from both sides are downloaded from the AEPW site. I put them together to see the difference and they are posed below. The yellow one is the solid mesh and the grey one is the fluid mesh.
It is clear that Nearest-neighbor cannot handle this case since the gap between two meshes, while through RBF mapping I still cannot map data precisely between both sides. I am now writing for help. Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you!
