Trouble install calculix adapter - yaml-cpp issue

Hi,

I’m trying to use the Calculix (ccx_2.20), CalculiX adapter (v2.20.1) with preCICE (v3.0.0) on Ubuntu 20.04. I have followed the instructions online, but am still having the same error:

ccx_preCICE: error while loading shared libraries: libyaml-cpp.so.0.7: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I have read a previous post: HERE.

However, I get the same issue with ‘jammy’ and ‘focal’ deb files.

Any help would be welcomed!

Hi @LRanatomy

Can you check if you corrently uninstalled the adapter that you first installed, before trying out the second variant? This could potentially be a problem. Also, updating the YAML library would be a thing to try out.
