Failing to install precice using spack

I ran into difficulty while trying to install precice using spack.

Please describe your system, and especially:

  • preCICE version 3.2.0
  • RHEL V7
  • Spack
  • Dependency versions (especially

I followed the instructions, but I keep getting the following errors:

==> Warning: Skipping package repository ‘/home/kimse/spack-precice’ due to: No repo.yaml found in ‘/home/kimse/spack-precice’
==> Error: No package repository could be constructed from spack-precice

Hi,
Spack recently split their repository into two: The package manager spack and the package files.
It is possible that you are running into issues with this due to an incomplete setup or broken setup due to an update.

Can you provide the spack version you installed and how you installed it?
