Call for contributions: preCICE Workshop 2023 (early till Dec 16 - extended till Jan 16)

Dear preCICE community,

it’s time to warm up your text editor!

For the preCICE Workshop 2023, we are looking for talks that could be beneficial for the wider preCICE community. Are you developing a new adapter? Are you using preCICE for an exciting new application? Are you developing new methods that should not be missing from preCICE? Then open your editor and start sketching a short abstract (free text, < 1000 characters) for a 20min talk right now!

We will accept contributions in two batches. Submit your abstract till December 16, and we will reply before Christmas. You can still submit later and till January 9 16, in which case, we will reply before January 16 23. There will be no further extensions.

You should definitely submit and, even your proposal does not make it to this year’s program (limited slots, as we are going with a single track), you will still learn a lot and meet many people with similar interests by joining this workshop.

We already have a rough schedule and more details on our website, while the registration will open soon. Stay tuned for more information.

See you in February (finally, in person)! :beers:

One day left to submit a short free-text abstract and get feedback before Christmas.

Later submission is also possible till January 9, but who wants to write abstracts during holidays?

Reminder: A few days left to submit a short free-text abstract for a talk to the preCICE Workshop. The same also for the early registration.

We already have confirmed a few talks (on climate simulations and on coupling with reinforcement learning algorithms) from the first batch, as well as an invited talk on coupling solids4foam and preCICE: preCICE workshop 2023 | preCICE - The Coupling Library

Final extension for the call of contributions: January 16.

Note that we extended the list of collaborating hotels!
