# Nodes where both solid and fluid apply deflection

Hi @SomethingRandom,

this question sounds very similar to [Couple presiced solidbodyMotion with mechanical deformation](https://precice.discourse.group/t/couple-presiced-solidbodymotion-with-mechanical-deformation/1470).

I think that the problem would be ill-defined if both the solid and the fluid solvers try to move the nodes.
