# No deformation when using RBFMeshMotionSolver

Hi, I tried to change the deformation solver to the RBF one in the perpendicular-flap tutorial and it’s working too with solid4Foam.

Hi quarkz,

In my experience RBFMeshMotionSolver does not work when the motion is prescribed as a boundary condition in the pointDisplacement.  
That’s why when using preCICE and a solid solver to deform or move the body it works.

Did you manage to solve this problem?
