Hi,

Note that the `solid-calculix` contains two cases, which is mentioned in the case description:

>
> This tutorial describes how to run a fluid-structure interaction using preCICE and any fluid-solid solver combination of our officially provided adapter codes.

There is a complete topic on generating CalculiX meshes and configuration files:

> [@How can I create a CalculiX mesh and configuration?](https://precice.discourse.group/t/how-can-i-create-a-calculix-mesh-and-configuration/827):

> This is a common question we often face, as many of our tutorials use CalculiX as the structure solver. I am barely familiar with CalculiX and I just wanted to collect here some resources, together with you. Reading the CalculiX documentation (PDF on the [website](http://www.dhondt.de/)) and manually setting up a case is one option. Another option that some people have had good experiences with is using the [FEM Workbench of FreeCAD](https://wiki.freecadweb.org/FEM_tutorial). What other options do you know? What are common tips and tricks you can offer to the…

For questions specific to CalculiX, I recommend having a look at the very active CalculiX discourse:

> **[CalculiX (official versions are on www.calculix.de, the official GitHub...](https://calculix.discourse.group/)**
>
> A place to discuss features and challenges using the Finite Element Code CalculiX. Official CalculiX versions are available at www.calculix.de, the official GitHub respository is at https://github.com/Dhondtguido/CalculiX

If you prefer learning-by-doing, then I recommend the new public FSI course created in collaboration with @Claudio.
