# ADINA adapter with Fortran

Hi all!

I see ADINA allows Fortran files for enabling user functions. Has anyone made or has interest in making an preCICE adapter for ADINA?

It offers SOL 601 & 701 compatibility with large community, and e.g. FEMAP can directly use the solver, so that’s why I think it is attractive to have an adapter for it.

In any case, if anybody knows where the relevant preCICE code should be injected in ADINA files, I could write the adapter as well…

Depending on the legal situation, [a support contract](https://precice.org/community-support-precice.html) could be a good base to cooperate on.
